GENERAL
GENERAL
Gluten free on a label should indicate that the product is free of wheat, rye, barley and oat gluten. I spend a lot of time reading labels and calling food companies. I check all labels and use only those food products (and medicines)which are gluten free. I use fresh vegetables and generally do not purchase products that I cannot identify as gluten free. I will buy products marked "gluten free" even if these products are more expensive or are products that I have not used before in an effort to vary my diet.
