| I have 3 children all of whom have celiac disease. The most difficult thing that I have found in evaluating foods which are safe for my family is that labels are not fully disclosing ingredients. Labels should clearly state if they contain ANY gluten product or derivitives thereof. There should also be a warning if cross contamination is a possibility so that consumers can make an educated choice in their diets.
When using the term "gluten free" consumers should be able to know that cross contamination is not an issue and that if gluten containing products are manufactured in the plant that machines are cleaned before the "gluten free" product is processed.
Please help us protect our family form ingesting these toxins by defining labeling guidelines.
