| The term 'gluten-free' must be universal. The product must contain no gluten and must be manufactured on lines that are gluten free. Presently the safest way to identify products that are gluten free is too call the manufacturer's product information lines. This is a very slow but necessary process. A very small percentage of foods are presently marked gluten-free and most of these are imported from Canada, Australia and European countries ie Italy and Ireland.
I do use the gluten-free label as an influence in purchasing products having the same ingredients, but this is very time consumming.
Please develop a safe food labeling for Gluten-free foods!
