| My daughter was diagnosed with celiac disease two years ago. Until that time, I had no idea the disease existed, let alone that it is so widespread, and undiagnosed. After diagnosis, it is vital that we find products that are gluten free. Since this is such a widespread disease, labeling of products needs to meet the criteria of "GLUTEN FREE". This will enable the consumer to purchase with confidence products that will not harm them. As you know, if Celiac Disease Patients consume products containing gluten, they can become extremely ill, as well as evetually being diagnosed with diabetes, lymphoma, and many more diseases linked to Celiac Disease.
We are asking our representative to please assist us with the product labeling issue. This is such a small request which will help such a large over- looked population in such a big way.
