| Shopping for gluten-free foods in an ordinary grocery store is very difficult. Most of the products do not specify whether or not they are gluten- free. Reading each and every list of ingredients takes so much time and, since some ingredients contain hidden and undeterminable amounts of gluten, it would not be accurate anyhow. As a reasonable accommodation to people handicapped by this condition, I feel all food manufacturers should plainly note on their labels if the product is gluten-free. Surely, all food manufacturers, processors, etc. employ qualified dietitians who could determine if the ingredients in each product do or do not contain gluten.
