| Docket # 2005N-0279
I am concerned about food labeling because I have Celiac Sprue which is life threatening to me. I was ill for 20 years before I was diagnosed. Gluten Free means no wheat, oats, barley, or rye, not even traces! I am extremely sensitive to any amount of gluten. I have spent countless hours identifying safe foods. I call companies and write companies. I am still in danger because I am not always aware if an ingredient changes. For example, Natural flavors, Colors, or Modified food starch may or may not be safe. Less than 5% of my foods are marked gluten free. Gluten free labeling greatly influences me to buy a product. If I do not know product is gluten free, I will NOT buy it. Please help me identify safe foods. I am sorry, I do not know the correct category. Thank You | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
