GENERAL
GENERAL
1. Gluten free should mean...ZERO presence of gluten proteins/enzymes....not just wheat flour!
2. I have to READ READ READ the labels...and then sometimes I am forced to 'guess' if in doubt. I spend atleast 2 hours week reading labels...
3. It depends on where you shop..if you go to Walmart i would say only 10% are labeled with the ingredients in BOLD if there is wheat. Most items don't even have the gluten free label (at Walmart/Target/Albertson's) NOW, if you go to a health food store or organic market I would say 35% of the items are labeled. The rest are not!
4. Sure, if it's marked gluten free (and pretty close to the same price/taste) then great....i will buy the one that is marked!! Easier for me!
5. This is not really that helpful for my daughters situation. She cannot have any gluten....trace amounts can hurt her!
