GENERAL
GENERAL
I have had Celiac disease since 1998, Labeling products which are gluten free would assist me greatly as I am also a type I insulin dependent diabetic carbohydrates contained would be useful. A listing which shows foods which are 'gluten free and sugar free' would be particulary helpful to myself. I spend a lot of time in the grocery store reading labels to find out the contents of a product. Clear labelling would save time, as at present to find this information it is necessary to call the company or consult a list which has been compiled by the CSA. I spend a lot of money each year purchasing gluten free breads, cereals, cookies, pies and so on. I shy away from products which I am unsure of even though they may be gluten free, labeling would benefit the consumer and the manufacturer. It would certainly make me thinking about purchasing the product.
