1. Gluten-free on a food label should mean it is free of wheat, oat, rye barley and any of their derivatives.
2. I identify food that do not cantain gluten by reading the labels and calling the companies, time spent 1-5min.
3.About 20% of the food I purchase are marked gluten-free, which come from health food stores and are breads,.. cereals, pasta, cookies, mixes.
4. With gluten free wrote on the label it does influence me to buy it, very much so.
5. yes I would consider a two or more level definition of gluten-free helpful.
