| Gluten Free should be completely free of Wheat, Barley, Rye and Oats, the latter because of cross-contamination issues. I should never have to consume a product with hidden glutens in it or be told six months, a year or years later that a product contained gluten and that is why I never felt quite good.
The same should go for all drugs, over-the counter-medications and especially generics. A friend of mine, working for a drug company tested several generics and they did not behave the same.
Now that we are aware of the meaning of Gluten-free and what it means to so many people it should mean just that. No one knows any toleration level without repeat biopsies and even they are not always accurate.
