GENERAL
GENERAL
I have celiac disease and labeling has become extremely important. Many products may contain gluten but aren't specifically labled. I.e., "modified food starch" could be wheat or corn but one doesn't know unless the label states which one. There are other ingredients that are stated generally that may contain gluten. By labeling specific all products that have gluten or are gluten free, my risks of aggravating my disease would be significantly lessened. I strongly urge you to require manufacturers to be more specific in their labeling of ingredients--specifically wheat, barley, oats and rye.
