| 1. Gluten-free should mean the guaranteed absence of all wheat, rye, oat, and barley products.
2. I spend a lot of time reading labels and calling manufacturers. I try to buy items that say gluten-free right on the package.
3. I try to buy products that say gluten-free on the package. I am very brand specific when I buy something that isn't labeled. That means I have already verified with the company that it is gluten-free. Probably about 10% of what I buy is labeled gluten-free. Labeling would greatly simplify my and my daughter's life!
4. I tend to buy something that is labeled gluten-free 99% of the time versus something that isn't labeled.
