GENERAL
This really needs to be addressed because I have eaten things that say gluten-free then in reading ingredience I see that there is wheat in the product that is the worse thing for gluten intolenent person could eat.
This means I can not go out to dinner unless I bring my own food which isn't much fun.
Also trying to explain to people that I can't have any bread is so difficult. I was in a rehab setting after a fall resently and the dietiantion did not even understand the diet I had to be on so here I was in this skilled nursing fucility and paying daily and they could not feed me. I had my dauighter bring in three of my books but it did not help so my daughter would bring in food and I would have to prepare it not right. example they cooked a great meal for easter dinner I was about 4 people that couldn't leave and have dinner with my family because of Medicare rules. I lifted the tray off of the plate and in the middle of this great looking dinner on top was a dinner roll so the whole dinner was contaminated. I was so disappointed as you would be so I had Puffed rice with Haslenut (milk) and orgranic gluten free butternut sqush soup???? Great Easter Dinner by myself with all these elderly nonresponding people I had to cry and I did.
IT IS SO VERY EMPORTANT TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT GLUTEN FREE OR GLUTEN INTOLERANT PEOPLE. When you do get gluten you get terrible ill with abdominal pain, bloating vomiting and some times ending up in the hospital for dyhdration. This has happened to me 3 times and I am only 3 years dianosised.

I HOPE THIS GETS READ AND SOMETHING GETS DONE ABOUT LABLEING FOODS AND MAKING THE PUBLIC AWARE OF GLUTEN INTORENT, AND WHEN THE LABEL SAYS GLUTEN-FREE IT IS TRUELY GLUTEN-FREE

Thank you
