Please vote to require food labeling to state "gluten-free" so celiac patients will have a way of knowing what is truly "gluten-free". MOST of our precious time is spent contacting food companies, reading articles, or ordering gluten-free list in order to figure out what is even available to eat. Then, all we can do is hope the products are "gluten-free"! At the present time, maybe only 1 percent of the labels state "gluten-free". If you have not known what a challenge this disease can be, I ask you to talk to someone about the challenges of deciding what a celiac can or cannot eat since we have no other quick alternative to knowing what is "safe"! It is imperative that labels state "gluten-free" for the protection of those concerned! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
