GENERAL
GENERAL
Celiac Sprue or Gluten Intolerance is a serious, life-long condition that can only be treated with a very strict adherance to a completely gluten-free diet. Even a small amount of gluten creeping into the diet can severely damage the intestine and further lead to various, and more serious, conditions such as osteoporosis and cancer. It is estimated that 1 in 133 Americans are affected by this condition. A gluten-free diet is the most difficult diet to follow ... please enforce proper and accurate labelling laws to make our life a little easier. Thank you.
