| I have a family member with Celiac Disease. More and more people are being diagnosed with this often misunderstood ailment.
It is imperative that Celiacs remain gluten free. It is not "OK" to get a little gluten once in a while. The eight major allergen list is OK for allergies but not for Celiac Disease. The other gluten containing grains are not included in the eight major allergen list.
I have spent hundreds of hours contacting companies for detailed ingredients lisst for even the seemingly simplest foods. Then I have to check back again every six months or so to see if the ingredients have changed.
I ask that you please make guidleines for the term "gluten free" and require that gluten be incorporated into the existing list of allergens soon to be required on labels
