| I think there is a serious problem bulding in regard to access to physicians, both generalists and many specialties. We are aware of areas in the country where patients have great difficulty gaining access to a physician who can assume responsibility for general and ongoing care.
I suggest that this become a topic of serious study, and pilot projects to solve the problem, if documented, be initiated. This is bound to become much worse in years to come, given what we know of the demographics of the US population.
