 There is good scientific evidence to support the lycopene's ability to prevent certain types of cancer, especially of the prostate. Anything that encourages American's consumtion of more fruits and vegetables, especially ones with documented health-promoting properties, is important for you to support. Information is power and people need more information about what they can do to take care of their health. The more we encourage the *prevention* of disease with known methods, the less tax-payers will have to shell out for expensive treatments that often do little good. Lycopene is an important carotenoid that more Americans need to learn about. Please support a health claim for it.
