 My son had an HHE immediately following the DTP at two months of age.  There is no medical record of it...truthfully I held him and prayed. Via the internet, I talked to another mother whose son had the same rare reaction.  She also did not realize the seriousness of it, and her son is also mildly autistic.  Here are two children who are not a part of the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program and I think you have to consider the actual cases of serious reactions are much higher than the VICP even begins to show.



I would be more than willing to subject myself to a comparable amount of mercury in a comparable time-table, for the kids.  Nothing short of that would seem to budge the current thought. It isn't about the money...I am not even a part of the litigation and probably never will be.  It is about the mercury being injected into susceptible neonates.  It is about collateral damage in the war against disease.  Many positive things have been done since Bernard, et al, brought the possibility of autism being a novel form of mercury poisoning to light.
