| As a parent of a child who is on the autism spectrum, I must plead with you to remove thimerosol from the vaccines. My child progressed normally until his MMR vaccine. I delayed providing the MMR vaccine to my son until he was a little over 2 1/2 years of age when I felt his system would be better able to handle it, but after receiving the MMR vaccine his development stopped. It is my belief that the thimerosol from his previous shots was not excreted but built up in his system and the MMR was the final bullet to his system. I advocate vaccines provided the thimerosal is removed. California has seen fit to sign a bill doing this, and that is the only reason I will now allow my daughter to receive her shots. Please, it is imperative that further studies are done and that action is taken immediately to remove thimerosal from the vaccines. Please help our children. Sincerely, Gaynor Arnold
