| I hope after reviewing the data on children's suicidality you will look into suicidality in the adult population.It only makes sense if it can cause suicide in children it can happen to adults as well.I know this for a fact I lost my Father July 20 2000 to suicide as a direct result of Prozac.
This is my Dads Forensic Toxicology Report:Preformed by Medtox Laboratories Serum Fluoxetine 1412 ng/mL Serum Norfluoxetine 1836 ng/mL Total Fluoxetine Level 3248ng/mL Therapeutic Range 300-1150 ng/mL Dad committed suicide after 10 days on 20mgs of Prozac then the dose was raised to 40mgs.Dad only made it to his 4th day at 40mgs.Total 14 days on Prozac before he committed suicde by self inflicked gun shot wound to his head. My Dad was a very very strong man who would never have committed suicide if it had not been for Prozac.Just 2 months before he committed suicide he bought a brand new truck and was making plans for a fall vacation with his family.This was a man who had plans for his future. My dad was full of life and loved every minute of every day.He and my mom his wife of 47 years loved to travel and just 1 year before drove from Omaha Ne to Alaska on a month long vaction. Everyone who knew my dad knows it was prozac that killed him,Please investigate SSRI Suicides in the Adult Population.This is a very real danger and it must be investigated there have already been to many famlies that have lost a loved one to horrible deaths that would still be here today if this issue had not been ignored so long.
