| I am against the proposed changes in this docket for the following reasons:
1) truth in labeling. If you're going to have non-cow milk in a product, it should say so on the label. In type big enough to read without a hand lens. On the front.
2) consumer safety. There are many many people, including myself, who can safely consume cow's milk but are very allergic to sheep's milk, and other proteins. You could kill a lot of people with this regulation.
3). again, truth in labeling. allowing 'mcp' and dairy whey to be an ever larger % of the mix--why not just omit milk altogether? If the companies want to use less milk, let them label it for what it is: semi-dairy dessert or some such.
The same goes for yogurt and other dairy foods.
