GENERAL
The idea that allowing milk derived products in order for the manufactuer to save money is not in the best interest of consumers. If you go down this road then as a minimum have a standard for informing the consumer on every package as to what is actually included in the product. The same applies to milk from other than cows. I as a consumer to not want milk from sheep or goats in my ice cream or any other product. If I want to eat goat cheese I will buy goat cheese, I do not want these companies to be able to put milk from other than cows in any milk product let alone ice cream. You must maintain a minimum milk fat content for specific types of ice cream, other wise they will substitute chemical replacements for mouth feel.
