| I am apposed to the changes in standards and any wording change. I wish the FDA would take measures to protect our food safety and quality. When I purchase cheese, milk, ice cream, butter, I consider these items to be the most perishable and expect they have been produced completely in the United States and regulated by milk inspectors. I find it hard to believe milk from other species will be collected and introduced into our food under the same standards as what we are consuming currently.
I further wish more was being done to clearly label in the front of the packaging any additives a consumer might find questionable. I find it disturbing to read the ingredients on my cheese packaging and wonder what exactly the milk protein concentrate is and why it isn?t included under the milk already listed in the ingredients. This makes me conclude it is milk from another source I may not want my family to consume and I search for another brand without this ingredient.
