GENERAL
I think it is very wrong to hide any harmful ingredient in any food or other products that consumers injest. All ingredients should be listed. That is the only way you or I can be an informed consumer. Aspartame is not something I want to injest. I will not buy or consume any product that contains it. I have MS and I may Have gotten MS by chewing Wrigleys Freedent. I did not know it contained aspartame when I started chewing this product because it did not stick to my dentures. I have had all of my fillings replaced with non toxix materials and have purchased a metal denture . Gum does not stick to the metal dentures. I was chewing Nicorette cheming gum. I switched to the mint flavor. It was only after I asked Dr. Betty Martini at the WHO that I found out the mint flovered Nicorette contained a similar ingredient that I switched back to the original flavor because it did not contain an aspartame like ingredient. All consumers must be informed of what we injest and use, to protect our health and safety.
Sincerely
Michael Lay
