| The concept of not labeling cloned foods is quite frightening on many levels. You would be taking away our ability to decide not to eat cloned animals. You label organic foods but you wouldn't label cloned foods. What if cloned foods causes a higher degree of illness and you didn't allow for the labeling of these foods? No one would ever know what the possible cause was.
In a free country, I want the right to choose what foods we eat and if you do not allow a label to show the foods were made through cloning, you take away my right to choose. You also put me blindingly at risk of possible health issues related to eating cloned food. The mere concept of this possibility leads me to believe there is some strong influence attempting to blind citizens from knowing they would be eating cloned animals. Please advocate for safety through choice, not blind faith. There are no long term studies around cloned food. I want the right to choose to eat cloned food or not. Thank you.
