| Please put some identifying mark on packages that have cloned meat and make the time limit five years. That way enough free-market evidence and data could be generated to support the FDAs underlying premise that cloned meat is safe to eat. It is giving the consumer the information that need to make an informed choice, unless the FDA wants to be accused of hindering or hiding information that benefits consumer choice.
We all know that the FDA, like most federal agencies has been "captured" by the industry it is meant to regulate. It is just a fact of modern bureaucracy. With that in mind, it most certainly would look great to the FDA and the meat industry to put some identifying mark on a package. Not a "warning sticker" just a mark that signifies this product comes from cloned animals.
