| I want food labels identified as to its source and how it was processed. It should be the consumers decision if we want to eat 'modified' or 'altered' food. If foods are not labeled and I am not given a chance to make a responsible, informed decision, then there will be needless worry at least on my part as to what exactly I am eating and feeding my famliy. In the event that in 10 years the FDA says 'opps we didnt' realize that cloned animal meat changes human body chemistry', for instance, I want to be able to say that I made the decision to eat the cloned animals or not. It should be my decision not the government.
If labels are not put on these foods, I will go completed 'organic', buy from local producers that do not use these processes or animals, or stop eating meat all together. I am sure many others will do the same. LABEL THE FOOD!!!
Thank you for the opportunity in letting me voice my opinion on this issue.
