GENERAL
GENERAL
Against animal cloning for food. Against not labeling and informing the public. Current decision to approve this is a travesty, and shows the system is broken. I will ouline why: 1) Current regulations in place require listing all ingredients for items considered safe - why is this different? 2) Does the fact the FDA is approving this also mean that the FDA is accepting all the risk for anyone injured by the product? example: restaurant patron or Basha's patron dies, and is reimbursed by FDA for 10 million dollars per occurance? 3) upon approval, is the FDA responsible for all future lifetime expenses of everyone injured by this poor decision? 4) and just in case common sense has been missing, understand that regular folks won't eat clone - so those who do sell, market, and otherwise provide something natural will be sure to label their products. Which will ensure that any business or person trying to give the people what they don't want can be identified and avoided.
