| I strongly object to the plans to allow introduction of cloned animals into our food and milk chain. I do not think five years is long enough to study such a strange, unatural move to see if it is indeed safe or not.
If the FDA still approves the use of cloned animals, then I believe it will be imperative to label such foods. The argument that it would not be feasible is simply not acceptable - it CAN be done, the FDA just needs to figure out how.
It is time the FDA stops catering to the beef industry (among others) and begins doing what it is supposed to be doing; protecting the public, LISTENING to the public, and making sound, rational decisions based upon years and years of research.
