GENERAL
GENERAL
Although I understand and appreciate that cloned animals may one day be used to save human lives I do not feel that cloned animals should be available for consumption. This includes their availability for consumption by the general public or included for consumption by any other animal species as a whole meat product or any by-product, processed matter or derivitive included in animal feed. If legislation is passed that does allo the sale and purchase of cloned animal products for human/animal consumption I feel that the meat/product should be labeled as such. Any animal raised with food/feed from a cloned animal should also be labeled as such. I belive that today's consumer is not provided enough information by food manufacturers (as allowed by gov't regulations) and similar mistakes should not be allowed with future legislation.
