| After reading the Docket Summary Report (DSR) for Docket ID: 2003N-0573 regarding 'Draft Animal Cloning Risk Assessment; Proposed Risk Management Plan; Draft Guidance for Industry Availability' I no longer believe the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is acting in the best interest of the American people. Please keep in mind our progress is not always defined by scientific innovation or technological advancement. In my opinion, cloning -- both human and animal -- is a case where our progress is better defined by the exercise of wisdom and of self-restraint.
The old axiom: 'Just because you can do something, does not mean that you should' is applicable here. Please know that I will share my point of view with others including and especially my elected representives.
