| Hopefully I've reached the correct docket.
I just became aware through my local grocer that the FDA recently approved the sale of meat from cloned animals. While this may be an issue in and of itself, what bothers me more is that meat producers will be able to sell the meat without labeling it as meat from a cloned animal. It is very disturbing to me that I such labeling is not a requirement. The public has the right to know the source of their food products. This is not a step in the right direction. Please change the draft to require that all meat from cloned animals is labeled as such for the benefit of the grocers and consumers. Sincerely, Sherie Weisenberg. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
