This proposed legislation is not necessary since there are regulations alread in place. There are more deaths caused by prescription medicine than by vitamins. People don't by these products without first consulting a physican or some other type of health care giver before buying these products. Any health food store I've been in asks me what I will be taking the vitamin for and if isn't the best product for what ails me, then they will tell what I should use. There are too many other important issues for the FDA to concern themselves with. How are you going to enforce such rules when you don't have enough staff to handle the load you know have?
