Dear FDA,

In regards to using downed animals for food for animals, YOU ARE WRONG!!!!
If farmers can't take better care of their animals, they shouldn't be allowed to own any.

I do not want my pets eating diseased food products, and I know even when I buy the best food for my pets, somewhere along the line some greedy, sneaky, evil person is going to say no, this is not made of downed animals.

When it comes to animals, money, the money always wins. Actually in every situation money and greed win. It is a sorrowful world, and if your agency cared just a tiny bit you could change it. Will you be the ones to do it?
Have a little compassion for the downed animal put it to sleep in dignity, as you would want for yourself.

Sincerely
Rita K Beilke
