i ardently support an immediate ban on using the mutilated, damaged, carcasess of non-ambulatory cattle in feed. these "downsers" as they are called are sick, injured, and ill and should be removed from the food cycle, not ground up into feed. furthermore, a ban on such use of these animals would encourage the cattle industries to take further steps to try and prevent these incidents from happening in the first place. such practices have no place in modern animal husbandry practices, and lead to disease, contamination, and creul and unusual livestocking techniques. thank you.
