| As a veterinarian and concerned consumer, I believe that allowing sick, non-ambulatory cattle to be killed for animal feed will not only result in unnecessary pain and suffering, but also pose a significant threat to huiman health. Downed animals should be humanely euthanized immediately, not kept alive and/or transported to be killed for rendering.
