| As a consumer, I am appalled at the treatment of factory farmed animals (As you know, all animals are sentient beings-- dogs, cats, cows, birds! All feel pain, all fear pain.). I am particularly concerned about the FDA using ill or dying animals in the non-human food supply. Dogs and cats are contracting strange and fatal diseases at an appalling rate. (Yes, dogs & cats die of cancer slowly and painfully, just like humans), and while I understand that there are a number of dog food companies that would love to purchase such diseased meat at a big discount, think of your own pets' health. Would you feed your dog or cat the carcass of a dead, diseased pig, chicken or cow?
Thank you for your consideration.
