GENERAL
GENERAL
I am opposed to the use of downed animals in any products, as these animals should be humanely euthanized instead of being forced to withstand the rigors of transport and slaughter in the slaughterhouse. I am particularly opposed to the inclusion of meat and byproducts from downed animals in any animal feed, not only for ruminants. I refuse to buy a certain brand of horse feed at my local feed store because it lists "animal products" in its list of ingredients.
