| This commenter strongly recommends that the current policy of ZERO ("No CFU") tolerance for the presence of Listeria monocytogenes in food should be maintained.
The petitioners present no evidence that setting a limit in any food would INCREASE the OVERALL safety of food. Therefore, this comenter must respectfully OPPOSE the setting of any such limit -- the current requirement for the absence of this disease causing organism should be maintained. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
