Please consider the attached information and not allow hearing aids to be purchased over the counter.

Please consider not insisting the ENT physician deciding if a patient is a hearing aid candidate---his expertise is medical and surgical intervention;  the Audiologist is the only expert in aural rehabilitation and through diagnostics and according to our code of ethics will refer a patient to the ENT physician or another physician if and when medical and or surgical intervention might be a consideration.
