| No where in the interim rules are there any exemptions for personal effects of returning US Citizens, to include those citizens who are returning from extended employment as government employees in foreign countries. We have been requested by our importer to request that FDA make an exemption for personal effects aquired abroad. We have found that most of the personal effects shipments that the individuals do not have adaquate information to complete the prior notice information in detail.
