I think it's time to tell the truth.  

 

1.  As a minimum you need to add the warning label to the foods that contain the trans fats.  Almost 300 people dying every day should be convincing enough.

 

2. If any amount of trans fat is in a food product, they should not be able to say it is fat free.  We rely on you guys to hold manufacturer's accountable.  You are allowing the public to be deceived if manufacturer's can get away with these little "white" lies.

 

3.  I think you need to take the next step and completely ban trans fats.  Tell Americans the truth.  Our bad diets are responsible for 1/2 to 3/4 of all deaths every year and yet we are supposed to be the most educated people in the world with the best resources to eat healthy.
