Proposed FDA RegulationsFrom: Ridgway, Elizabeth [Elizabeth.Ridgway@coair.com] Sent: Tuesday, July 08, 2003 3:10 PM To: 'fdadockets@oc.fda.gov' Subject: Proposed FDA Regulations To Whom it may Concern, I have had an opportunity to review the proposed new regulations for food safety and would like to make a comment. In my opinion, the regulation is far to strict and would force many food service organizations out of business. The feasibility of the level of documentation proposed would be unmanageable. At my place of employment, Continental Airlines Chelsea Food Services, we already take the utmost care in the security of our facility and the product we produce. I believe that food in a restaurant is at a greater risk than any we could produce. We have on sight security and require a security background for all associates. To keep the level of records need for the proposal would make it financially unjustifiable for use to offer our product to the consumer. I would like to voice my complete disagreement with these changes. Thank you for your time.
