1. The FDA has enough legislative authority to regulate supplements.
2. The passage of DSHEA increased FDA's enforcement powers. The department of Health and human Services can also stop the sale of and entire class of dietary supplements if they pose an imminent public health hazard. And also the FDA has finally started to fully implement the law by taking aggressive action unsubstatiated dietary supplement claims. Give these efforts a chance to work.
Don't we have enough problems with other serious drugs.
You could also be killed by taking asprins.. People need to
be more responsible of how much you take. Because of these few stupid people the rest of the world is being treatened
of never to be able to take a simple non-harmful supplement pill. I believe that the state needs to open there eyes before trying to pass this BILL. I'm Alex Gonzalez of SOUTH FLORIDA and I take supplements to make me feel good and look better. I had a check up with the docter and he told me that I'm in excellent shape. All test came back ok NO PROBLEMS....
