Questions
1. General Comments You are probably getting numerous emails from supporters of ephedrine based products - especially MLM companies like Wellness International Network, Ltd. (WIN). I am NOT a supporter. I am a past distributor for WIN and was the 3rd top producer worldwide for distribution of their product called BioLean. I have found it unethical and not medically sound to promote such products. In my opinion, these products should not be used without the supervision of a physician. The obesity problem in this country is real and growing. The publics' demands for these products are a direct result of primary care physicians not treating obesity during the routine course of patient treatment. This leaves these desperate patients as vulnerable victims to unscrupulous companies who prey on their misfortunes by offering ephedrine based products in the open market place. This must stop! I wish to also add, our company, Health Mobius, Inc. (http://www.healthmobius.com), does provide solutions for primary care physicians to address the obesity problem in a clinical setting and has taken a proactive approach to the problem by conducting clinical trials using such methods and followingt he guidelines established by the National Institute of Health. We strongly urge you to ban the sale of such products without medical supervision and offer our support and willingness to assist in such directive.
