Since a condom is supposed to prevent ejaculate from ever coming into contact with the vagina, and the nonoxynol-9 is actually an extra measure to prevent pregnancy and some std's, I think labelling products that contain this substance as promoting the transmission of std's and especially HIV is very misleading. I'm afraid an inappropriately worded warning may cause sexually active individuals to question whether or not to use a condom, when I think it is amply proven that condoms help a great deal, with or without nonoxynol-9, in preventing pregnancy and many std's.
