I oppose labeling products that contain nonoxynol-9 as not helpful in preventing HIV infection. I have read the results of these studies, and know that such results as irritation of the vaginal lining is the result of these sex workers using such products approximately 20 times a day, which is, to say the very least, not the frequency of that of an average user. I think it irresponsible to label a product based on tests which do not test average use.
