Dear Sir/Madam,

This is to encourage you to grant Petition #98P-0151/CP1 to ban the
slaughter of downed animals for human food.  Animals that are sick and weak
(downers) and unable to reach food or water are forced to suffer gross abuse
at livestock facilities across the country.
Please ban the slaughter of downed animals for human food by granting
Petition #98P-0151/CP1.
