1. General Comments In 1999 I was diagnosed with type II diabetes and begin taking 5mg glyburide a day which amounted to 1 tablet daily. In April of 2001, I was introduced to AM-300 and asked my Dr. if I could take it, of course he said no because it contained 12mg ephedra and it wasn't good for me. Well I went against his word and started taking it anyways. Approx. 1 month later I went for a retest on my blood sugar, high blood pressure and cholesterol levels and the Dr. was shocked because all my levels were down to normal and he couldn't find any signs of diabetes in me either. He said to keep doing what I've been doing and asked me what it was that I was doing, and when I told him that I was taking the product that he recommended not to take in the first place, he was speechless. He had to take me off the glyburide because he saw no need for me to be on it anymore. I got up and walked out and I haven't been back to see him since that time. Also, in that 1 month I took off 20lbs. and to this date I have taken off approx. 115lbs. and went from a 46in. waist to a 34in. waist in 1 1/2 years of being on this AM-300 product that contains just a little spec of ephedra. My understanding is that your body can take up to 150mg of ephedra daily as long as it's taken safely. I urge that you reconsider before making the decision to take this wonder herb(ephedra)off the shelves and take a close look at how it's impacting the lives of many people like myself. It's helping to bring many of us into a better, healthier lifestyle. Thank you very much for your time.
